Delaware Technical Community College recently celebrated over 2,100 graduates from the Class of 2025, a new group of alumni who are leaving the College with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their careers, pursue their next degree, or both.

Hill Named Softball Pitcher of the Year, Eight Players Earn Postseason Honors
Delaware Technical Community College softball player Kylee Hill was named the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 19 Division II Pitcher of the Year, headlining a group of eight players from the College who earned postseason honors.

Selby Inducted into Owens Campus Hall of Fame
Paul M. N. Selby, who spent more than 33 years working on the Delaware Technical Community College Jack F. Owens Campus in Georgetown, was inducted into the Owens Campus Hall of Fame during a May 16 ceremony.

Softball Wins District Championship, Earns Spot in World Series
The Delaware Technical Community College softball team has earned a spot in the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Softball World Series after winning the Atlantic B District Tournament on May 10. This is the fourth time in the past five seasons that Delaware Tech has advanced to the national championship tournament.

Howard High School Seniors Recognized as First Cohort of 1+1 ITN Dual Enrollment Program
The first cohort of students to participate in the 1+1 Information Technology and Networking Program at Howard High School of Technology were recognized during the school’s Class of 2025 Senior Recognition Program on May 6.

The Delaware Technical Community College Jack F. Owens Campus in Georgetown held its annual Starry, Starry Night Gala on April 26 to raise funds to support student scholarships and purchase state-of-the-art equipment for classrooms and labs.

Softball Head Coach Guy Wilkins Records 200th Win at Delaware Tech
Delaware Technical Community College women’s softball head coach Guy Wilkins secured his 200th win at the College after sweeping a March 30 double-header against Rowan College of South Jersey.

The four winners of 2025's adobe certification: Jeanne-Marie Johns who had the highest score in Photoshop, Benjamin Carper who had the highest score in Illustrator, Corrine Mills who had the highest score in InDesign, and Emmanuel Adegbe who had the highest score in Premiere.
